The Ichalkaranji has a great legacy in the field of textile industry in the Maharashtra state of India. Power looms, which is the most important factor as per consideration of Ichalkaranji economics. In the recent past, the power loom industry has faced a crisis. The most affected factor in the crisis is power loomed workers, as they face many problems. This study is an attempt to understand the problems of workers, which are influencing the power loom crisis in the textile industry of Ichalkaranji. The study also proposes a solution, which may assist power loom workers and owners for improving the economic conditions. This study also considers social as well as economic aspects of power loom workers. The study was based on survey method. In this study, the researchers have used a questionnaire consisting of ten multiple-choice based questions. Percentage analysis and Chi-Square Test were used to analyse the data.
